Wat Khuha Phimuk
The Wat Khuha Phimuk ( Thai วัด คูหา ภิ มุข , Wat Na Tham, the "Temple of the cave") is a Buddhist temple ( wat ) in Yala Province Yala . In addition to Wat Phra Mahathat ( วัด พระ มหาธาตุ วรมหาวิหาร ) in Nakhon Si Thammarat and Wat Boromathat Chaiya ( วัด บรมธาตุ ไชยา ราชวรวิหาร ) in Surat Thani province, Wat Khuha Phimuk is one of the most revered shrines in the southern region of Thailand .

Wat Khuha Phimuk is located about 5 km west of the city of Yala.
Building history
Wat Khuha Phimuk was built around 1,200 years ago and partly consists of a cave in which the famous reclining Buddha is located.
Attractions
The following attractions are located in the area of Wat Khuha Phimuk:
- the approximately 25 meters long Buddha statue in the adjoining cave , which is assigned to the Srivijaya period; the entrance is guarded by a giant (called Chao Khao ), which was built in 1941
- the figure of an Indian deity from the 8th century and a Buddha statue in the south Indian style from the 9th century .
