Wataru Ōta ( Japanese 太 田 渉 Ōta Wataru ; born March 14, 1981 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Ōta learned to play soccer on the school team at Osaka Sangyo University High School . He signed his first contract in 2001 with Ventforet Kofu . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed six league games. In 2002 he moved to the third division Ehime FC . At the end of 2004 he ended his career as a soccer player.
