The Waterfall Cliffs ( English for waterfall cliffs ) are steep cliffs of rock and rubble on the West Antarctic Vega Island . They rise immediately southwest of Keltie Head .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2008 after the waterfalls that occurred here at the time of the snow and ice melt .
