The Webb firn field is a firn field in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is at the head of the Seafarer Glacier .
Scientists in a campaign carried out from 1966 to 1967 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him after Dexter Norman Webb (1923-1966), who was supposed to be responsible for public relations in this campaign, but was murdered on September 25, 1966 in Wellington .
