Wedeke Kerkring

Wedeke Kerkring (* in Lübeck ; † October 17, 1482 ibid) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck .

Life

Wedeke Kerkring was the son of Lübeck councilor Thomas Kerkring . Like his father before, Wedeke became a member of the patrician Lübeck Circle Society in 1460 . In 1479 he was elected to the Lübeck council.

He was married to a daughter of Councilor Konrad Brekewoldt and lived in the house at Königstrasse 1 in Lübeck's old town . He was buried in the Marienkirche in Lübeck . The grave slab is documented, but was lost during the clean-up work after the air raid on Lübeck in 1942. The Lübeck councilor Berthold Kerkring was his son.
