Konrad Brekewoldt

Konrad Brekewoldt (also Cord, also Brekkewolt) († 1480 ) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.

Konrad Brekewoldt was the son of the Lübeck citizen Hartwig Breckewoldt and grandson of the Lübeck mayor Konrad Brekewoldt . He was elected to the Lübeck Council in 1455 and was Lübeck bailiff from 1458 to 1463 at the Riepenburg , then from 1464 to 1470 bailiff in the Bergedorf municipal office . In 1472 he negotiated with the council of the Hanseatic City of Hamburg in Mölln .

Brekewoldt was married to a daughter of Councilor Tideman Hadewerk . Since 1452 he belonged to the circle society . He owned a share in the Roggenhorst and Schönböken estate . Brekewoldt lived in the house at Breite Straße 97. Around 1441 he built the St. Peter's Chapel . His son, Magister Hartwich Brekewoldt , became Council Secretary in Lübeck.
