The Weeks Stack is a breakwater in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located off the northern tip of Nelson Island in the northern entrance to Fildes Strait .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1962 after Captain Joseph Weeks, who operated with the British sealer Horatio between 1820 and 1821 in the waters around the South Shetland Islands.
