The wayside cross on Gutenberg is a stone cross from 1900, which is considered a cultural monument according to the monument protection law of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate . It is in the corridor "Am Gutenberg", on Landstrasse 528, on the outskirts of the Palatinate city ​​of Deidesheim , directly on the northwestern edge of the settlement of Niederkirchen near Deidesheim .

The floor cross is made of sandstone and stands on a stepped base. A triangular area around the cross is framed with sandstone slabs. In the middle block of the base is the inscription “Save your soul! Erected in 1900 by Jakob Flormann Niederkirchen ”. According to another inscription on the lowest step of the base, the cross was renewed in 1932. The metal body of the cross comes from the renovation in 1932.

The cross is 3.70 m, its base 1.20 m high. The body is 50 cm long.
