Dietershofen Wegkapelle

The Wegkapelle in Dietershofen near Babenhausen , a district of the Oberschönegg community in the Unterallgäu district ( Bavaria ) is located in the western part of the village on the road to Inneberg and is a listed building. The building itself is of modern origin and consists of a polygonal housing with a 5/8 end and a steep roof. A cloverleaf arcade forms the open south side. The wooden figures inside are from the first half of the 18th century. In the lower niche there is a body of Jesus and above it originally a Pietà , which is now set up in the parish church of St. Ulrich (Dietershofen) .
