The Roman Catholic Way Chapel St. Martin stands at about 1555  m above sea level. A. in the Unteres Älpele corridor in the Zug district of Lech in the Bludenz district in Vorarlberg . It is consecrated to Saint Martin and belongs to the parish of Lech am Arlberg and thus to the dean's office Bludenz-Sonnenberg in the diocese of Feldkirch . The building is under monument protection ( list entry ).

The chapel stands in the hallway Lower Älpele (short: Älpele ), about 300 meters distance from the Alpine buildings away. The chapel is around 2500 meters as the crow flies from Zug itself and around 5800 meters from the Lech parish. The Lower Älpele itself borders directly on the municipality of Dalaas to the south and west . The chapel has no access and stands in the middle of the pasture area.

It is a building with a rectangular basic shape and south-east / north-west orientation with white external plastering, a shingled gable roof and two distinctive wooden pillars that support the far-forward roof. The chapel does not have a bell ridge. Apart from the door with the wrought iron barricade there is no light opening in the chapel.

The interior of the chapel is simple and plastered in white. The saints inside come from the 2nd half of the 17th century.
