The distance stone is a listed distance stone in Flechtingen in Saxony-Anhalt .
location
It is located south of the village on the east side of Landesstraße 25, which leads from Flechtingen to Altenhausen . Immediately north of the stone, a dirt road branches off towards Bodendorf .
Design and history
The spacer stone made of sandstone probably dates from the first third of the 19th century. Its unusual shape is striking. In the lower part it consists of a round base, while the upper part is designed as a triangle. It is possible that the stone originally had a different function and was only then converted into a road stone.
The stone is labeled. Bodendorf is on its northern side and Altenhausen on the western side . There is an arrow above the place name indicating the direction. It is registered as a distance stone in the local monument register.
