Military Medical Monthly is the title of a specialist journal of the medical service of the Bundeswehr on the subject of military medicine and pharmacy , which is published by the inspector of the medical service of the Bundeswehr and Beta Verlag. The German Society for Military Medicine and Wehrpharmazie (DGWMP) supports the editorial staff with medical content and publishes news from the society.

It contains specialist articles from medical officers , doctors, dentists, veterinarians and pharmacists from the civil health system and research, as well as from members of the health professions from all medical fields. Information from the medical service of the Bundeswehr, NATO and other organizations on new or ongoing activities, event reports (congresses, seminars, workshops, etc.) and information on the DGWMP division groups are also provided. The numbering of pages in the individual issues of a year is continuous.

Medical officers and clinical psychologists of the Bundeswehr and external bodies (medical associations, universities, etc.) as well as members of the DGWMP receive the magazine free of charge. Active members of the German Armed Forces who are members of the DGWMP receive the magazine from their respective offices.

The magazine, formerly published by the Brönner-Umschau group , has been published by BETA-Verlag in Bonn since January 1995. The forerunner of the military medical monthly was the military medical announcement as a supplement to the magazine Truppenpraxis .

Since October 2019, the military medical monthly has also been available in an electronic version ( e-paper ) with an expanded range of information. From January 2020, medical officer candidates in the Bundeswehr will only have access to the e-paper version. You will be advised of a newly published edition by your care services.
