The white rosemary apple ( also: White Italian rosemary apple , Italian Mela di Rosmarino , Rosmarina Bianca ) is a cultivar of the cultivated apple ( Malus domestica ).
It is considered an excellent table apple and used to be one of the common cultivars in South Tyrol (in 1929 seven percent of the quantity delivered there). It has been known in the area around Bolzano since around 1798.
The fruit is medium to large in size, tall and, when fully ripe, is light yellow in color with a slight reddening on the sun. The tree requires nutrient-rich soil and a warm location.
