Weidhof

The Weidhof is a deserted area in the municipality of Schleid in the Wartburg district in Thuringia .

The Weidhof was located in the Thuringian Rhön about 300 meters southeast of Motzlar between today's Bundesstraße 278 and the eastern bank of the Ulster.

history

The Weidhof used to be a district of Motzlar , which existed until after the Second World War . It was broken off by the security organs of the GDR as part of the so-called border security . It joins a large number of abandoned farms in the Rhön.
