Weidorje

Weidorje was a progressive rock / fusion band from France, formed in 1976 by former members of the band Magma , bassist Bernard Paganotti and keyboardist Patrick Gauthier . Their music is part of the Zeuhl genre founded by Magma .

Weidorje released a long-playing record (LP) of the same name in 1978 . In 1992 a CD release with two additional live bonus tracks appeared on the French progressive rock label Musea . The band broke up around 1979.

“Weidorje” is also the title of a piece composed by Paganotti and Magma singer Klaus Blasquiz on the Magma album Üdü Ẁüdü , after which Paganotti and Gauthier left Magma.
