Kirt Rust

Kirt Rust (born July 8, 1957 in Hawaii ) is an American fusion and rock musician ( drums ).

Live and act

Rust, who first grew up in California, first played the trumpet and switched to drums at the age of 13. At the age of 15 he moved to France. There he first played with Francis and Didier Lockwood in the jazz rock band Volklor , with whom he recorded in 1976. In the next few years he belonged to bands like Weidorje , Saga de Ragnar Lodbrock or Odeur . He continued to work with Philippe Chatel, Patrick Gauthier, John Greaves , Jean-Michel Kajdan , Benoît Widemann , Babik Reinhardt , Sylvin Marc, Catherine Lara, Zachary Richard, Maxime Le Forestier , Eddy Mitchell , Sylvie Vartan , Michel Delpech and Chris Rea . Tom Lord had 15 recordings with him in the field of jazz between 1978 and 1990.
