Maxime Le Forestier (* 10. February 1949 in Paris as Bruno Le Forestier ) is a French cabaret singer .

Life

Le Forestier's father came from England , where his mother had also lived for a long time. He was born the third child after his two sisters. He attended the Lycée Condorcet in Paris. Maxime began his musical training like his sister Catherine on the violin .

The first record with two songs was made in 1969. In 1972, the first album ( Mon frère ) followed. To date, over 20 other albums have been released, including live recordings and new recordings of Georges Brassens' chansons . Le Forestier celebrated its greatest successes in the 1970s and 1980s, with tours in France, Russia and Canada, among others .

He regularly takes part in the annual “ Les Enfoirés ” charity concert , the largest media event in the Francophone world.
