The Chur Wine Museum is located in the Graubünden capital of Chur at Neubruchstrasse 31 in a torkel built in 1604 . It houses the largest wine press in eastern Switzerland with a length of 14.5 meters . It was in operation in this house until 1962 and has been its central exhibit since 1982, the year the museum was founded.

The house has been owned by the city of Chur since 1971. 1985–1987 the Torkel was renovated and set up by a founded cooperative as a viticulture museum. A permanent exhibition explains the production of wine from the cultivation of the vines to the fermented juice based on the annual course of a winemaker . All kinds of events can be held in the museum's rooms.
