A wine dispenser is an automatic dispenser for wine .

function

The device dispenses wine in fixed or variable quantities, depending on the device. The wine is stored in an air-conditioned environment, and the wine is withdrawn under protective gas in order to avoid oxidative changes in the wine. Particularly valuable wines, which are often not served by the glass because the contents are not consumed in one day, can be offered in small quantities over several days. For serving wines whose drinking temperature should be different, e.g. B. red and white wines , some devices can be divided into different climate zones with flexible partitions. The wine label on the front of the bottle is usually directly visible in the machine; the information on the back label can be viewed on an additional display card, if necessary.

In the catering industry , wine dispensers are used as self-service machines or in order to be able to offer a larger selection of high-quality wines in the open bar. For the same reason, the machines are also used in retail stores, so a wider range of wines can be kept ready for non-binding wine tasting .
