It was founded in 2004. Handicrafts, sculptures, paintings and works by the baroque painter Martin Johann Schmidt ( Kremser Schmidt ) are on display . The oldest still active carpenters' guild in Central Europe and the work of winemakers in the 19th century are presented.

In the gallery on the first floor there are changing exhibitions of contemporary artists.
