Weird-Ohs is an American - Canadian animated series that was produced between 1999 and 2000 . The series is based on model sets the Hawk Model Company , which is a popular in the 1960s satire on the American car - culture represented.

action

The series revolves around several crazy characters and their mishaps that they experience in Weirdsville, a place off Route 66 . The three main characters Digger, his best friend Eddie and his sister Portia appear again and again.

Production and publication

The series was produced by Decode Entertainment and Mainframe Entertainment in Canada and the United States between 1999 and 2000 . This resulted in 13 double episodes.

The series first aired on September 15, 1999 on YTV in Canada and Fox Family in the United States. The German first broadcast took place on October 7, 2000 on Sat.1 . Further repetitions on German-language television were also made on Tele 5 , K-Toon and Junior . The English version of the series was also released on DVD .
