Welcome Ncita (* 30th March 1960 in Mdantsane , South Africa ) is a former South African boxer in the super bantamweight . He was trained by Emanuel Steward .

On March 31, 1984, he successfully made his professional debut. On March 10, 1990 he became world champion of the IBF when he defeated Fabrice Bénichou by unanimous decision on points. He defended this belt six times in a row and lost it to Kennedy McKinney in December 1992 .
In 1998 he ended his career.
