Welcome to My Secret Heart is the second studio album by the Austrian-Argentinian singer-songwriter Robby Maria . It was released on October 10, 2014 on the German independent label Timezone .
Emergence
All 13 songs on the album were composed, arranged and texted by Maria and recorded with the collaboration of various musicians from all over Europe in the former studios of the GDR radio , today's Funkhaus in Berlin . In contrast to the debut album Metropolis , on which Maria had played all the instruments (except drums and percussion) herself 18 months earlier, several well-known musicians from all over Europe can be heard on Welcome to My Secret Heart , who Maria brought to Berlin for the recordings invited. The single Sick Young Man and video clip (shot by filmmaker Stephan Metzner in Berlin and Amsterdam) and the bonus track Welcome to the Suicide Days (demo version 2010) that was only included on the single was released on September 19, 2014 . The song and the video tell the story of a man who exists within our society, but does not belong to it and thus keeps a clear and lonely view of the essentials.
