Weldon Heyburn
Weldon Heyburn (born September 19, 1903 in Washington, DC , † May 18, 1951 in Los Angeles ) was an American actor .
Life
Heyburn studied law but soon started traveling with touring theaters in the mid-1920s. He received an actor contract with Fox Film Corporation in 1931. In 1932 he played a leading role in The Silent Witness with Greta Nissen - it would remain one of his very few. He married Nissen, but the marriage lasted only two years and one more film as a couple, the low- budgeted Hired wife . In his further career, Heyburn played as an independent actor in nearly seventy films, mostly in small and very small roles, including about twenty b-westerns. In 1942 he enrolled in the army; from 1946 onwards, due to illness, he was seen less and less in films.
Heyburn died of cancer at the age of 47 after almost a year in hospital. He was married three times in total.
