Wells Ridge is a 6 km long and rocky mountain ridge in Marie Byrd Land, East Antarctica . In the Ford Ranges it looms between the Swanson Mountains and Mount Gilmour .
Participants of the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941) discovered it during an overflight and mapped it. The ridge is named after Loran Wells (1904–1981), who visited him on this expedition in 1940 as a photographer and observer for a team of geologists.
