World Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics 1963

The 1st World Championships of Rhythmic Gymnastics were held on December 7th and 8th, 1963 in the Hungarian capital Budapest . At the "I. International Competitions in Artistic Gymnastics ", organized by the Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) and attended by 1,300 spectators, 28 gymnasts from ten nations took part.
