World milk day

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The World Milk Day is organized once a year (usually on 1 June) in order for consumption internationally of milk to advertise. It was launched in 2001 by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Dairy Federation (IDF) and is held in over 30 countries. Milk should be promoted as a natural and healthy drink worldwide and for all ages.

World Milk Day should not be confused with FAO's World School Milk Day , which is celebrated on the last Wednesday in September.
