Weltreisen was a weekly German reportage program broadcast by the first with international reports by ARD correspondents. It was replaced in 2014 by the report in Das Erste .

The contributions to the foreign report were produced by ARD's foreign correspondents. Weltreisen was produced by BR, HR, MDR, NDR, SWR and WDR. Depending on whether the report came from countries in Africa, Asia or South America, the subtitle of the world trips between Cairo and Cape Town , Faces of Asia or Plaza Latina , in addition to the title (and possibly subtitles) of the episode.

The half-hour program was broadcast on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. on Das Erste. Repetitions are shown on 3sat , Tagesschau24 and EinsPlus as well as on MDR television, NDR television, rbb television and on hr-television.

Weltreisen was first broadcast on April 17, 1993 by the First German Television. Weltreisen was discontinued in September 2014 and replaced by the report in Das Erste , which, however, is not limited to reports from abroad.
