Stephan Genz
Stephan Genz (* 1973 in Erfurt ) is a German song and opera singer ( baritone ).
Life
Genz attended the St. Thomas School in Leipzig and was a member of the St. Thomas Choir . He studied singing with Hans-Joachim Beyer at the "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" University of Music and Theater in Leipzig and from 1994 with Mitsuko Shirai and Hartmut Höll at the Karlsruhe University of Music . He also studied with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf .
