International Song Art Competition

The International Competition for art song is one of the International Hugo Wolf Academy for voice · seal chanson eV in Germany in 1987 for the first time aligned Music Competition for singing and piano and from 2001 for song duos , every two in by 2010 every three years Stuttgart takes place and is dedicated to changing composers.

The public competition runs over three rounds and gives the participants the task of performing several works by the respective composer. In 2010 it was open to singers and pianists of all nations who were born after September 1, 1978. The expert jury consists of renowned representatives from international concert life. The best song duos receive different cash prizes.

The last competition took place in September 2018, the next competition is to take place from September 28 to October 4, 2020.
