Wenche Andersen (born June 10, 1954 ) is a Norwegian cook , television cook and cookbook author .

Life

Andersen attended secondary school in Kolsås in Bærum Municipality . There she made the decision to start a career in gastronomy. She trained as a cook and then worked at the information office of the Norwegian meat industry, Opplysningskontoret for kjøtt . She also wrote articles as a cooking journalist for various publications. In 1994 she began to work as a cook in the then new TV show God Morgen Norge ( German : Guten Morgen, Norway ) on TV 2 . After she forgot a pan on the stove, the building where the program was recorded had to be cleared in 2014. In 2019 she celebrated her 25th anniversary on the breakfast television show .

In May 2017, Prime Minister Erna Solberg presented her with the honorary award at the Gullruten TV Prize .
