The independent city of Wenshan ( 文山 市 , Wénshān Shì ) is the capital of the Wenshan Autonomous District of the Zhuang and Miao in the southeast of the Chinese province of Yunnan . The seat of the city government is the large municipality of Kaihua (Groß 镇). The city of Wenshan has an area of ​​2,972 and 3,064 km² and has about 430,000 inhabitants (2004).
