Wenxi

Wenxi ( 闻喜县 , Wénxǐ Xiàn ) is a Chinese district in the prefecture-level city of Yuncheng in the south of Shanxi Province . In 1999 it had 374,110 inhabitants.

The sites of the fortified city and the Qiujiazhuang tombs (Shangguo chengzhi he Qiujiazhuang muqun 上 郭 城 址 和 邱 家庄 墓群) of the period from the Zhou Dynasty to the Han Dynasty and the Houji Temple (Houji miao 后稷 庙) are rising the List of Monuments of the People's Republic of China .
