Werner Guttentag

Werner Guttentag (born February 6, 1920 in Breslau , Silesia , Germany ; † December 2, 2008 in Cochabamba , Bolivia ) was a publisher in Bolivia.

He was the son of Erich Guttentag (1889–1965) and Mrs. Margarete Tichauer, and emigrated to Bolivia in 1939 as a Jewish emigrant. Among other things, he worked in Moritz Hochschild's mining company . He was initially a bookseller and in 1950 founded the Los Amigos del Libro publishing house. In 1998 he was honored with a stamp from the Bolivian Post Office.
