Werner Haupt (physician)

Werner Haupt (born September 3, 1908 ; † after 1998) was a German general practitioner and medical professional politician .

Live and act

Werner Haupt ran a country doctor's practice in Schleswig-Holstein for almost 40 years. From 1955 to 1969 he was a member of the board of the Schleswig-Holstein Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (deputy chairman from 1964).

Haupt was from 1969 to 1973 and from 1974 to 1977 first chairman of the professional association of general practitioners and doctors for general medicine in Germany (BPA).
