Golubie Małe is a small settlement in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the rural municipality of Dubeninki (Dubeningken , 1938 to 1945 Dubeningen) in the Gołdap (Goldap) district .

Geographical location and transport links

Golubie Małe located 28 kilometers east of the district center Gołdap (Goldap) in the northeastern Province Masuria far from a side road, the Żytkiejmy (Szittkehmen / Schittkehmen , 1938-1945 Wehrkirchen) with Skajzgiry (Skaisgirren , 1938-1945 Hellerau) and Błąkały (Blind Gallen , 1938 to 1945 snow ground) connects. There is no train connection.

history

Golubie Małe was founded after 1945. An earlier German name of the place is not known. The name of the place could be in connection with the nearby village Golubie (Gollubia , 1938 to 1945 Unterfelde) , which is not far from here, but which was then abandoned.

Religions

The majority Catholic population is ecclesiastically oriented towards Żytkiejmy. The parish is part of the Dean's Office Filipów in the diocese Elk (Lyck) of the Catholic Church in Poland . Evangelical church members belong to the parish in Gołdap, which in turn is a subsidiary of the parish in Suwałki in the Masurian diocese of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland .
