Boczki is a place in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . He belongs to the rural community Dubeninki (Dubeningken , 1938–1945 Dubeningen) in the powiat Gołdapski (Goldap) .
Geographical location
Boczki is located in the southern area of the Rominter Heide ( Puszcza Romincka in Polish ) within the protected landscape park Rominter Heide (Park Krajobrazowy Puszczy Rominckiej). Further to the west is the associated forest settlement Leśniczówka Boczki, and a few kilometers to the north - directly on the Polish-Russian state border - the Reserwat przyrody Boczki (nature reserve) with an area of 108.83 hectares .
history
At the village of Boczkis there is no place before 1945, let alone its German name, so that today's village was probably only built after 1945. It is a village in the Gmina Dubeninki association in the powiat Gołdapski and is located in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship.
Religions
The majority Catholic population of Boczki is incorporated into the Dubeninki parish , which belongs to the Filipów dean's office in the Ełk diocese of the Catholic Church in Poland .
The few Protestant church members are included in the parish in Gołdap , a subsidiary of the parish in Suwałki in the Masurian diocese of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Poland .

Boczki can be reached via the voivodship road DW 651 Gołdap ↔ Sejny , from which a side road branches off in Rogajny (Rogainen) , which leads into the town via Budiwecie (Budweitschen , 1938–1945 Elsgrund) . There is no train connection.
