Przerośl Gołdapska ( German  Präroszlehnen ) is a small village in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . It is located in the Gołdap (Goldap) district and belongs to the rural municipality of Dubeninki (Dubeningken , 1938 to 1945 Dubeningen) .

geography

Przerośl Gołdapska is located on the east bank of the Loyer See (1938 to 1945: Loier See, Polish: Jezioro Prerośl) on the southern edge of the Rominter Heide (Puszcza Romincka) and only 1 kilometer from the border with the Podlaskie Voivodeship .

history

Even before 1539, the former was Prirosle founded the 1565 Prirosla , 1727 Preroschlen after 1818 Präroschlehnen , after 1871 Preroszlehnen and until 1938 Präloszlehnen said. In 1874 it was incorporated into the newly established Loyen district (Polish: Łoje), which - renamed "Loien District" in 1939 - until 1945 belonged to the Goldap district in the Gumbinnen district of the Prussian province of East Prussia .

In 1910 there were 147 residents registered in Präroszlehnen. Their number rose to 158 by 1933 and was still 128 in 1939.

On September 17, 1935, Präroszlehnen was renamed "Jägersee". Ten years later, the village came in consequence of the war to Poland and received the Polish name "Przerośl Gołdapska". Przerośl Gołdapska is a district of Gmina Dubeninki in the powiat Gołdapski , which was provided with a Schulzenamt (sołectwo) and was part of the Suwałki Voivodeship until 1998 and has since been incorporated into the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

Religions

The population of Präroszlehnens and Jägersee, who were almost exclusively Protestant before 1945, was parish in the parish of the Dubeningken church, which belonged to the Goldap parish in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union . The few Catholics belonged to the parish church in Goldap in the Diocese of Warmia .

The relationship between the denominations has changed in Przerośl Gołdapska: the predominantly Catholic church members now use the former Protestant church in Dubeninki as their parish church, which belongs to the Filipów dean's office in the diocese of Ełk (Lyck) of the Catholic Church in Poland . The small number of Protestant residents belongs to the Gołdap parish, which is a subsidiary parish of Suwałki in the Masuria diocese of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .

traffic

Przerośl Gołdapska is located on a side road that connects the two Voivodeships of Warmia-Masuria (Powiat Gołdapski) and Podlaskie (Powiat Suwałki) and at the same time represents a link between the voivodship roads DW 651 and DW 652 .

A railway connection no longer exists since the Goldap – Szittkehmen (Wehrkirchen) railway line with the Dubeningken / Dubeninki railway station, also known as the “Kaiserbahn”, was taken out of service.
