Antoine-Philippe Progin

Antoine-Philippe Progin (born June 10, 1833 in Misery-Courtion , † March 15, 1871 in Freiburg im Üechtland ) was a Swiss politician and State Chancellor of the Canton of Friborg . He was a member of the Conservative Party.

Life

Von Misery , his parents were Pierre Progin, von Misery, and Barbara nee. Michel, from Cressier . He married Catherine Daguet in Freiburg .

In 1857 Antoine Progin was a copyist in the State Chancellery, from 1858 to 1862 secretary of the cultural department and in 1863 of the police department. From 1864 to 1867 he was Vice Chancellor, from May 1867 to March 1871 State Chancellor.
