Werner Koch (Author)

Werner Klaus Koch (born February 18, 1955 in Graz , Austria) is an Austrian photographer, author and educator.

Born in Graz, he graduated from the BRG Kepler in 1974 and graduated from the Federal Education Academy in 1978. In addition to his work as a VS and HS teacher until 1983, he took over the management of VS St. Ulrich am Waasen in 1984. In 1995 Werner Koch became a teacher at the Pedagogical Academy in Graz, in 2008 a teacher at the Styrian University of Education and the Graz University of Education .

In addition to his educational activities, he devoted himself intensively to photography. In addition to being awarded an “honorable mention” from the Nikon Gallery Japan, Werner Koch exhibited his work in numerous exhibitions at home and abroad: Austria ( Styrian Autumn ), Italy, Slovenia, Australia. 1981–1984 he presented widescreen lectures in cross-fading technology with 6 projectors with the titles: "The Scottish Highlands and its islands" and "The Bretagne" as part of the adult education center and the Austrian cultural service. His writing began in 1984 with illustrated books ("Vulkanland", Verlag Styria ) and specialist didactic books as well as the teaching books Schatzkiste 1-4 for children in elementary school (Verlag E. Dorner). The works in the Schatzkiste series consist of a book, CD-ROM, teacher material, workbook and, if necessary, other publications.
