Werner Krüger (politician)

Werner Krüger (born January 4, 1948 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 1990 to 2006 .

Werner Krüger attended secondary school until 1962, completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith and passed the journeyman's examination in 1966. From 1974 he worked as a technician at the Spandau district office.

Krüger joined the CDU in 1971 and became a member of the Christian Democratic Workforce (CDA) in 1974 . From 1984 to 1991 he was a member of the Spandau District Assembly . In 1999 he was given a direct mandate for the House of Representatives in the constituency Spandau 2 with an absolute majority, to which he belonged from 1990 to 2006. From 2001 he was a member of the Committee on Youth, Family, School and Sport of the House of Representatives. In 1987, Krüger became chairman of the local board of Spandau-Neustadt and in 1989 a member of the local board and deputy chairman of the CDU Spandau.
