Werner Mühlbauer

Werner Mühlbauer (born April 11, 1941 in Geislingen ) is a German engineer and agricultural scientist, particularly in agricultural engineering, he was professor of agricultural engineering in the tropics and subtropics at the Institute for Agricultural Engineering at the University of Hohenheim .

Live and act

Mühlbauer obtained his Abitur in Stuttgart in 1963, where he also completed his mechanical engineering studies at the University of Stuttgart and graduated in 1968 with a mechanical engineering degree. From 1969 he was a research associate at the Institute for Agricultural Engineering at the University of Hohenheim and after receiving his doctorate as a Dr. Ing. In Stuttgart as chief engineer of this institute in Hohenheim. At the Chair of Agricultural Engineering at the University of Hohenheim, Mühlbauer completed his habilitation in the field of agricultural engineering in 1986. First he became professor for energy technology at the Institute for Agricultural Engineering and from 1989 professor for agricultural engineering in the tropics and subtropics at the University of Hohenheim until he retired in 2004
