Werner Moeller Freile

Werner Moeller Freile (* 1933 or 1934 ) is an Ecuadorian diplomat.

Life

He worked as an entrepreneur and was also a member of the Guayaquil Charity Committee ( Junta de Beneficencia de Guayaquil ) from 1980 . In 1993 he resigned from the post as he was working in the diplomatic service of Ecuador. From September 21, 1999, Moeller Freile was Ecuador's extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Germany , based in Berlin . He was President of the Group of Ambassadors for Latin America and the Caribbean in Germany. Moeller Freile comes from a family with German roots; his grandfather emigrated from Germany in 1880. After his return from Germany in 2004 he became a member of the charity committee again, to which he remained connected with the mediation of donations even during his time abroad. In 2010 he became director of the committee. Among other things, he was committed to the establishment of an obstetric-gynecological clinic Alfredo G. Paulson , which was set up with US $ 20 million from private and state funds.
