Werner Ohm

Werner Ohm (born May 11, 1948 in Oberhausen ) is a former German football player .

Ohm began playing football at Viktoria 09 Oberhausen , but switched to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen as a schoolboy and was a regular player in the first team of the Kleeblätter at the age of 18. He played his first game in 1966 in the Regionalliga at Westfalia Herne , which was won 2-0. Werner Ohm played over twelve years from 1966 to 1978 for the first team of Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, from 1969 to 1973 he played 108 games (one goal) in the Bundesliga and in 1974/75 38 games in the 2nd Bundesliga for the red and white. In the Regionalliga West he made 130 appearances and scored four goals. With RWO he rose as a regional league champion in the Bundesliga in 1968/69 . After relegation from the second division in 1975, Werner Ohm played another three years for Oberhausen in the Niederrhein association league .

He ended his career at 1. FC Mülheim in the regional league.
