Werner Seidenschwarz

Werner Seidenschwarz (born July 4, 1962 in Starnberg , Germany) is a specialist in target costing.

Seidenschwarz is the managing director of Seidenschwarz & Comp. GmbH, Starnberg. He first became known in the early 1990s when he made significant contributions to the further development of cost management with his first article on target costing in Germany and the first monograph on target costing outside of Japan.

In parallel to his long-term commitment in China, his work in recent years has expanded to include the areas of strategy, innovation and intelligent restructuring as well as the development of the Starnberg management model. He has held a leading position as a specialist, partner, board member and managing director in industrial and service companies since the early 1990s.

After his doctorate and habilitation at the University of Stuttgart , Werner Seidenschwarz a. a. Private lecturer in business administration at the Technical University of Munich as well as lecturer at the University of Stuttgart, the Leipzig Graduate School of Management , the Linz Management Academy and the National University of Singapore . He is currently honorary professor for the field of strategic management at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich and private lecturer at the London School of Economics .
