Werner Weißbrodt designed the Hockenheimer Aquadrom logo in 1977. Its double wavy line in the form of an "a" was supplemented with the text Aquadrom Hockenheim . The logo is used in a slightly different color to this day.

At the University of Applied Sciences in Pforzheim, as part of the university reform of the state of Baden-Württemberg, he founded the course "Graphic Design" in 1972 and taught the subject until his retirement in 1990. At the beginning of his time as a university lecturer, he wrote a fundamental work, the handbook of surface design, which has been part of the graphic design canon since 1968. He shaped generations of students right up to the end with his highly technical and drawing lessons. In today's “Visual Communication” course, at that time “Graphic Design”, he was responsible for the basics for many years and taught the art of the signet , the final drawing, the construction in the surface, the graphic shortening for appearances and posters.

Werner Weißbrodt shaped the graphic interior concept for didactic murals of the State Museum for Natural History in Karlsruhe for many years. He worked with the jewelry museum and the Pforzheim cultural office. The design of the magazine series Blickpunkt , numerous exhibition posters and catalogs for jewelry presentations as well as the star-shaped logo of the jewelry museum were created with his participation. He also practiced graphic design in his private studio in Pforzheim-Würm. Up until old age he designed posters and playing cards, which he also collected.

Werner Weißbrodt was a member of the Schlaraffia Porta Hercyniae in Pforzheim. There he created the monumental painting of old Pforzheim in the Black Forest Castle, the clubhouse of the Porta Hercyniae in Pforzheim. In 1999 Werner Weißbrodt was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon .
