Vesselin Andreev

Wesselin Andreew , real name Georgi Georgiev Andreew , ( Bulgarian Веселин Андреев ; born February 16, 1918 in Pirdop , Bulgaria , † February 11, 1991 in Sofia ) was a Bulgarian writer.

Life

During the Second World War in 1943/44 he was political commissar of a partisan group . He processed the experiences of this time in poems and later in stories and sketches. In 1973 he published Es die Immortliche, a lyrical and documentary prose work, which was also devoted to the subject. Andreew was awarded the Dimitrov Prize.
