The Westhafen -verbindungskanal (WVK) is a 240 m long canal in Berlin . It was created in the second half of the 19th century together with the Charlottenburg connecting canal and connected it with today's Berlin-Spandau shipping canal . The southern end of the canal has led into it since the West Harbor was built .
