Weather board

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A weather board is a sign that is used in underground mining to visually display the weather data for the relevant mine . The individual weather boards are hung up at the prescribed weather measuring points , these are specially marked points for the weather measurements in the mine building . The weather table represents the family tree of the weather and is an aid for the weather climber when regulating the ventilation .

Types

Blue weather board

There are two different types of weather boards, blue and yellow weather boards. The blue weather boards are required by mining law for all mine workings that are occupied by miners . There are two fields on the board in which weather measurements for two consecutive days are entered. The respective measured values are entered in the fields with "pure" (<1% CH 4 ) or "impure" (> 1% CH 4 ). The respective measurements are made either by a weatherman or the responsible supervisor and confirmed with a signature on the weather board . The yellow weather boards are used to enter weather data , such as B. volume flow, dry and wet temperature, weather speed and the cross section of the measuring point. These measurements are only made by a Wettersteiger and entered and signed on the board. The yellow weather board is also called the weather station board.
