While You Were Sleeping ( Hangeul : 당신 이 잠든 사이 에 ; Revised Romanization : Dangsin-i Jamdeun Saie ) is a South Korean TV series by SBS with Lee Jong-suk , Bae Suzy , Lee Sang-yeob , Jung Hae-in and Ko Sung-hee . It was broadcast from September 27 to November 16, 2017.

Nam Hong-Joo, who can foresee the future in her dreams, meets prosecutor Jung Jea-chan and police officer Han Woo-tak, who have mastered the same skill. But since most dreams are bad, they try to change the future in order to prevent bad luck from happening. Over time a kind of friendship develops between the three and later even the two young men fall in love with Nam Hong-Joo. Her heart only belongs to one of them, namely Jung Jea-chan. Once it becomes clear why YOU have this ability, find someone who may have this ability and actually find it.

  • Lee Jong-suk as Jung Jae Chan ( Nam Da-reum as young Jung Jae Chan ): a 29-year-old novice prosecutor. Even though he's cold and has no sense of humor, he's still stupid in some ways. He also has the same ability as Nam Hong Joo and Han Woo Tak and tries everything with them to prevent the accidents. He saved the life of Han Woo Tak after preventing one of his dreams, but most of the time he gets dreams from Nam Hong Joo as his life was saved by her when they were both children. At first he could not endure this ability or Nam Hong Joo. Over time, he got used to it and even fell in love with Nam Hong Joo.
  • Bae Suzy as Nam Hong Joo ( Shin Yi-joon as young Nam Hong Joo ): a 29-year-old woman who has a gift for foreseeing the future in her dreams. She is the first to have this gift in the series. It is not stated who got it from or why. She lives alone with her mother. Her father died when she was a child. She saved Jae Chan's life as a child and gave him the same gift. Her life was saved by Jae Chan as well and therefore many of her personal dreams are related to him.
  • Lee Sang-yeob as Lee Yoo Bum ( Yeo Hoe-hyun as a young Lee Yoo Bum ): was a fairly successful prosecutor and became an independent lawyer who disobeyed the law and tried his best, guilty people who paid a lot can be acquitted. He was the reason Jung Jae Chan had problems with his father.
  • Jung Hae-in as Han Woo Tak : a 29-year-old policeman who shares the same talent as Jung Jae Chan and Nam Hong Joo. His life was saved by Jung Jae Chan, which is why his personal dreams have something to do with him.
  • Ko Sung-hee as Shin Hee-min : a young and quite successful prosecutor who also looks very good, which is one of the reasons for her success.
